    Bio:

    Annette Matthies is the Founder and CEO of Aspen Edge Consulting, LLC, serving as the engine that keeps the firm running. After finding her start with Human Resources in 1988, Matthies’ 25+ years of experience spans across all facets of human resources management while specializing in the support of business leaders developing and executing their professional goals.

    Known as being a seasoned mentor for business executives, Matthies helps her peers align their strategies to meet their long-term objectives. In doing so, Matthies conveys a unique perspective that ensures employee focused initiatives result in increased customer satisfaction, therefore producing more profits for businesses.

    Prior to starting her own company, Matthies spent several years in key executive positions within human resources, including, Director of HR, Vice President of People and Chief HR Officer in a variety of industries including software, financial services and manufacturing. In addition, Matthies has volunteered with COSHRM, the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce and other local non-profits. 

    With a passion for initiating business growth and advising companies on how to run smoothly, Matthies has spoken at numerous events regarding her executive experience. Her passion for developing leaders and increasing employee engagement is prevalent, and her custom-designed programs ensure the course has immediate application.
