    Positive leadership builds on the extensive research in the field of positive psychology which focuses on human well-being.  Positive leaders lead in a way that allows employees to flourish resulting in their organization flourishing and ultimately achieving extraordinary results.  In this 90 minute workshop you will learn how to create positive change in your organization through simple actions and attitude shifts.  The content is relevant to human resource professionals, small business owners, and leaders at all levels of organizations. We will cover the four pillars of positive leadership and how to enable extraordinary performance by:

    • Fostering a positive work climate to empower employees to thrive
    • Creating positive relationships with employees and among team members
    • Using supportive and positive communication strategies
    • Motivating and engaging employees through connecting their work with positive meaning

    Amy Arthur Packer Bio

    Amy Packer is an independent consultant and executive coach with over 15 years of experience working with teams and organizations.  She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication and certificates in Instructional Design and Organization Development.  She has been coaching and consulting with organizations in the Vail Valley and beyond since 2005.

    Amy’s services include customized training programs and initiatives such as teambuilding, leadership development, strategic planning, and executive coaching.  Amy is a Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation and a Certified Executive Coach (CEC).  In addition, Amy is a certified facilitator for Appreciative Inquiry, Achieve Global curriculum, and the Vail Leadership Institute’s Inside First curriculum.  She is qualified to administer the Center for Creative Leadership 360 degree feedback assessments and the Myers Briggs personality inventory for individuals and teams.

    Amy specializes in working with individuals, teams, and organizations in building the skills they need to work together most effectively and ultimately achieve extraordinary results.  Her passion is helping to bring out the best in organizations and their people by building on the strengths that already exist.
