    Summary:  Ed Krey, Owner of Employer Representatives Inc. will discuss the current wave of UI fraud taking place in Colorado and the steps Businesses and Employees need to take in response to receiving a fraudulent claim.

    Then, Danny Arenales, Eagle County Government Desktop Support Technician will review tactical things you can do to protect yourself against other common cyber threats we face.

    About Ed Krey:

    As owner of ERI since 2007, Ed manages the unemployment insurance claims process.  His 12 years as an Unemployment Insurance hearing consultant has allowed him to focus on providing businesses expertise and solutions in managing employers’ claims, ultimately returning money to their bottom line.

    In addition, Ed has 20+ years of experience in employee benefits design and implementation.  Ed provides his clients with the skills to run their businesses effectively and efficiently.  He is very excited to offer human resource consulting as a new service for employers.

    Ed has a bachelor’s degree and served in the United States Marine Corp.  His interests are the outdoors, CMU Mav Club, Lions Club and the many sports and activities that Colorado has to provide.  He currently serves on the Western Colorado Human Resource Financial Review Committee.  He serves on the Mesa County Planning Commission and is a member of the Mesa County Leadership Program.

    About Danny Arenales:

    Danny Arenales is a Desktop Support Technician for Eagle County Government. Danny believes that one of the fundamental reasons for human existence is to learn about anything and from everything. He has achieved an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology and an Associate of Arts from Colorado Mountain College.
