QUIET QUITTING: 3 Reasons Your People are Quiet Quitting and How to Bring Them "Back"
Summary:
A 2022 Gallup survey suggests that at least half of the U.S. workforce consists of quiet quitters -- those who are doing the minimum requirements of one’s job and putting in no more time, effort, or enthusiasm than absolutely necessary.
In this engaging virtual session, executive coach Meredith Masse will shine a light on 3 of the top reasons people are quietly quitting and share how HR professionals, organization leaders and people managers can address them in order to re-engage their employees.
Speaker - Meredith Masse, ACC, ELI-MP, Kolbe Certified Consultant
Certified professional leadership and career coach Meredith Masse believes W.O.R.K. and L.I.F.E. don’t have to be 4-letter words. With more than 15 years’ coaching, leadership development and consulting experience, she works with mid-career leaders — and their teams— who suffer from the Sunday Scaries to uncover the reasons they count the hours to quittin’ time on Friday. Together with Meredith, clients shift their thinking from “have to” to “get to”; rediscover what they do best naturally then put those superpowers to work; and recognize what it takes to bring meaning and purpose back to their nine-to-five lives. The results: clients get more done with less stress, make more conscious career decisions, become follower-worthy leaders and develop teams that fire on all cylinders.
Meredith completed an intensive professional coaching certification program in 2021 through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), received her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coaching Federation in 2023, and has been a Kolbe Certified Consultant since 2008. She also earned two degrees from the University of Maryland (GO TERPS!). She is also known for her contagious, positive energy; a keen ability to quickly find alternative ways of tackling challenges; and connecting with people authentically. As one client noted, she “makes others feel amazing about themselves.”
Meredith currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO, with her husband of more than 25 years and two rescue fur babies, who are visited occasionally by their hungry University of Colorado-Denver student.
