Presentation Description: FAMLI MATTERS: Three years after Colorado voters adopted a statewide program for paid family and medical leave, the Family and Medical Insurance Division is now making payments when life events force you to step away from work temporarily. In this seminar, find out how to let employees know about FAMLI benefits and how they work with other leave types. You'll also get a chance to ask your questions from two of the FAMLI Division's top experts.

Speaker Presenter Name and Bio:
Tracy Marshall, Division Director, Family and Medical Leave Insurance
Tracy Marshall joined the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) in September of 2021 to stand up the new paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Division. Tracy has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and holds her Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Wales. She is Board-Certified as a Case Manager, a Disability Management Specialist and is credentialed with the Society of Human Resources Management as a Senior Certified Professional. Prior to joining CDLE, Tracy was a Director of Clinical Operations for Guardian Life Insurances’ Absence Management company.
Rachael McCombs, Operational and Shared Services Director, Family & Medical Leave Insurance Division
Rachael McCombs had the opportunity of attending and graduating from the Women's College of the University of Denver, which was a life-changing experience for her, and helped shape her professional and personal journey. Coupled with her diverse background and expertise in client services, business and revenue operations, and marketing, she has worked at start-ups and large and small companies on many projects.
