In today's diverse landscape, embracing employees with varied thinking, learning, and communication styles is imperative. Understanding and embracing neurodiversity not only improves the workplace experiences of neurodivergent individuals but also enhances support and empathy for all employees. With this program we will:
· Introduction to neurodiversity and why it matters to your organization.
· Common neurotypes, their strengths and challenges
· Overview of spectrums, spiky profiles, and masking
· Considerations and strategies to support all levels of employee experience: job descriptions, interview process, onboarding, first 90 days, ongoing communication and support.
Genie Love
Genie holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership as well as degrees in Physical
Therapy and teaching. She was a Special Education teacher for 20 years specializing in working with students who have ADHD and/or autism.
Genie uses her diverse experience to provide strategic advisement and neurodiversity consulting services to businesses and organizations, so they are equipped to create an environment in which neurodivergent employees can excel. Her collaborative process includes auditing the physical work environment, office and/or home, with cost-effective recommendations. She provides neurodiversity training to managers and coaching to specific employees with ongoing support on implementation.
