Bios

Amanda Bay grew up in the suburbs of Boston Massachusetts. After obtaining a degree in Business informations systems she started her career in IT with Hilton Hotels.  the stars aligned one day and she found herself moving across the country to work for Eagle County as an IT technician.  Planning to stay in Colorado at least a year and maximum 3 she as now been with the County for 14 years.  Project management was a natural progression for Amanda. She has been an interpreter of sorts. Bridging the gap between geek and non geeks and finding her way by leading without authority. Carrying an average project load of 10 projects at different stages, Amanda is always on the lookout for the next best tool to help keep her, her projects and team members on track. 

Aryn Schlichting is the Deputy Director of HR at Eagle County Government and founder of Mountain Careers, the official mountain town job board. With 15 years in Human Resources in the Vail Valley she finds excitement in attracting others to the area and growing talent in mountain communities.
Originally from Chicago, Aryn was drawn to the mountains for college where she received her Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder. When not working or brainstorming new ideas she is chasing her two mountain kiddos around (Liam 8 and Grier 5).
