Summary: Diving into DEI is an Eagle County panel series around Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Each session will revolve around a different topic such as (public health, our public schools, wellness, leadership development, etc.) and will allow for the panel members to tell their personal stories of how they have been affected by inequity, data and observations they have found in their professional work regarding how our community is affected by inequity and what we can do as a community to improve.

This webinar will dive into inclusion of transgender, gender expressive and non-binary employees in the workplace.
Rachel Esters has presented on the topic of LGBTQ issues in the workplace since her gender transition in 2014. Rachel is a retired law enforcement executive and is currently a justice consultant specializing in training for correctional institutions and private organizations. In 2019 she conducted focus groups and individual interviews to better understand the challenges for LGBTQ people in Western Colorado, the report will be published this year. Rachel is a board member at One Colorado, an advocacy organization for LGBTQ Coloradans.
