Title: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in the workplace
Time: August 28, at 12pm
Program: This program is dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride within our community, fostering an environment of inclusivity, understanding, and support. Through a presentation and discussions with Mads, we aim to highlight the importance of LGBTQ+ rights, recognize the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals, and promote a culture of acceptance and respect in the workplace.
Bio: Mads Partridge is the Executive Director of Mountain Pride, a nonprofit committed to enhancing the well-being of the LGBTQ+ community in the rural Mountain regions of Colorado. With a comprehensive background in LGBTQ+ rights and education, Mads graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a multidisciplinary degree. Her ongoing education has been focused on deepening her understanding of LGBTQ+ issues to better support and empower allies and community members.
Prior to her leadership role at Mountain Pride, Mads served as the President of Eagle County Pride, a grassroots volunteer organization. Under her guidance, Mountain Pride has experienced significant growth, emphasizing the establishment of a sustainable foundation for long-term impact.
Mads' journey in advocacy and service began at Mountain Youth, where she developed a profound commitment to supporting queer youth. This experience ignited her passion for creating inclusive and empowering spaces for those in need.
