Speak Up, Save Lives

Talk Saves Lives by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, is a 45-60 minute education program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up-to-date research on suicide prevention, and what they can do in their communities to save lives.

My first mental health training was the Youth Mental Health First Aid course through SpeakUp ReachOut. It taught me about the warning signs for mental health difficulties and suicide. As a former childcare provider, this information was invaluable and continues to impact my interactions, both personally with loved ones and professionally with our community. I work with SpeakUp ReachOut to provide services and support to those struggling with their mental health, suicidal thoughts, or the loss of a loved one.
